　　1. Jing county in Anhui Province of China is the home of China Xuan Paper, and Xiao-Ling at Jing County is the birthplace of China Xuan Paper. According to the record of 《the History of Xiao Ling Cao family》: During Xuande Times of Ming Dynasty, Cao Dashan, the earliest ancestor of Cao family, had successfully researched and reproduc ed best quality Xuan paper, which was a special contribution to emperors in past Dynasties.
　　2. In 1877, the famous handicraftsman manufacturing Xuan paper, Cao Yifa produced "HongJi" brand Xuan paper ,and it is the champion of Xuan paper. "Hongji" Xuan paper won "Super Diploma Award"at Southeast Asia International Trade Meeting in 1911, and "the Golden Award" at Panama International Exposition in 1915. Later, because of various historical reasons ,"HongJi" brand Xuan paper disappeared with the other numerous brands of Xuan paper together at Xiao Ling area. Early in 1980s, led by new generation handicraftsman, Zhu Zhiyong , began to try hard to reproduce the original "HongJi" Xuan paper. Over the past twenty years, on the basis of digging up traditional technology and research the sample of archaic Xuan paper, he had tried for over one hundred times, finally produced the famous "Hong Ji" Xuan paper again. For the sake of to appreciate customers the original Xuan paper, "caohongji" trade mark was registered, and later Zhao Puchu, the well-known Chinese handwriting master ,was invited to test paper,and inscribed "Anhui 'Caohongji ' Xuan paper" for it.

"Caohongji" Xuan paper produced by Jing County Xiao Ling Archaizing Xuan Paper Mill has the following two distinctive features: First, it was fully produced with the traditional handcraft technology of anciental Xuan paper, raw matirial is the first important. So, "caohongji" Xuan paper pays much attention to selecting pure natural couch grass and black sandal skin as raw materials, less uses decolourant and pure alkali as possible as we can , refine to produce throuth salarization , rain , dew, becoming white by natural way. Second, it is fully produced by the procedures of traditional handcraft technology, it achieves not only thin as cotton ginning, but also thick as three layers. "Caohongji" Xuan paper has the features of great flexibility, surface as smooth as jadeware,as pure as and clean stroke, great resistant to crease ,corrosion, moth and mould, etc. "Caohongji" series of Xuan paper are not only treasures for handwriting and painting, but also superior paper for printing classics, top-grade archives and documents.

"Caohongji" Xuan paper has the following kinds: cotton materials, clean barks, special barks, as well as the other specifications and kinds of Xuan paper, more than one hundred specifications and kinds in total. On the other hand, we produce special kinds and specifications of Xuan paper according to the request of customers, dealers, calligraphy and painting masters (example as: secret mark, room name, special product ,etc. Among all kinds of Xuan paper, tiger skin Xuan paper and pinang Xuan paper are the most difficult to produce. Now,our mill alone masters its technology. In the past, we only produced for the dealers of Xuan paper. According to the need of our mill developing, we directly sell on wholesale and sell retail of "tiger skin", "pinang" Xuan paper and the other kinds.Now, we warmly hope to cooperate with all export agents in China).
